Sunday July 29th Bathampton Angling Association has teamed up with Enviroment Agency to hold a match, with a £2200 prize fund, at Newbridge and Saltford.

The match is open to everyone and the first prize is £600, 2nd is £450, 3rd is £350, 4th is £250, 5th is £200   and 6th is £150 this is in addition to the pools on the day.

This match is being sponsored by the Enviroment Agency so that they can conduct a fish survey of the stretch.

This match sold out last year, and there wasn't a national on the venue, so if you are thinking of fishing it book your ticket asap. They are available from the shop 0117 9508723.

Tickets cost £5 and it is a condition of the match that you fish all 5 hours and co-operate with section stewards. Stewards will be recording catches during and after the match for the purpose of the survey.
