The docks has been fishing better in the last few weeks, as more roach start to show, Thursdays match had some colour in the water and a strong tow that ran both ways.

Top rod on the night was John Macey with 6lb 12oz, made up of skimmers and roach plus a 1.5lb carp, all caught on the pole with maggot, second was Dave Clutterbuck, who had 6lb 10oz a similar catch to the winner from the next peg.

Pete Sivell was third with 6lb 7oz, all skimmers and roach, brother Merv was next with 5lb 7oz which included another carp of 1.5lb.

Alan Healey was fifth with 5lb and Andy Curry was sixth with 4lb 2oz.
