As always this match was a sell out with a long waiting list, Welsh Back, Mud Dock, Redcliffe Wharf and Police Launch stretches were used. The mild weather and brisk south westerly made for some good weights.

Top rod was a new name on the trophy, Derek Coles caught 2 bream and 17 skimmers for 29lb 5ozs on a groundbait feeder with red maggot on an 18 hook, he was pegged on a pontoon by the police launch.

Ray Cooper was second with 17lb 3oz made up of bream and skimmers from Redcliffe Wharf.
Third was Paul Isaacs, who came out of retirement for this match, with 15lb 8oz all skimmers on the ground bait feeder.

Dale Harvey was fourth with 12lb 2oz and Pete Ashton, fishing his first Docks Xmas match, had 11lb 14oz, both caught on the ground bait feeder and were pegged at Redcliffe Wharf.

Mike Weston was sixth with 10lb 0oz, he was top weight at Redcliffe Bridge, he caught skimmers on the groundbait feeder.
