Thursdays night match was really hard work, coloured water from the recent heavy rain, had made the fishing tough.

The match was fished at Redcliffe Wharf, an area of the docks that can throw up some big weights at this time of the year, usually bream. The annual Dock Xmas match has been won from here a number of times.

Top rod on the night was Pete Ellis again, his bream approach has been really successful this year, Pete caught 1 large bream and some skimmers for 5lb 14oz using maggot over groundbait, second was John Macey with 4lb 15oz of skimmers and roach, third was match organiser Dave Clutterbuck with 4lb 12oz of skimmers and roach, 4th was jason Bird with 4lb 2oz, 5th Pete Sivell with 1lb 15oz, 6th was Rob Garlan with 1lb 12oz
