Winter has really set in now, and the docks are fishing as hard as it ever has, thursday night saw gale force winds batter Bathurst Basin, combined with gin clear water the only fish willing to feed were tiny little roach, the bream and better fish didnt want to play ball.

Tonights winner was Rob Garland with 2lb 7oz of roach and the odd perch, fishing maggot over groundbait from peg 8. Second was Dave Shore with 2lb 2oz, including a 12oz skimmer along with his roach caught on pinkie over groundbait from peg 3, Third was match organiser Dave Clutterbuck with 1lb 13oz of roach and dace, fishing pinkie over groundbait.
