Every day anglers across the world use Fox International products when they go carp fishing, they are truly an international brand. Fox, Matrix, Predator and Fox Rage make up the brands owned by Fox International, these cover the full range of carp, match, traditional predator fishing and modern lure fishing.

This company started life in Essex, UK, where Cliff Fox designed and manufactured his first ever carp angling product, it was a metal ruler used to measure fish that were caught in matches, this was back in the day when every match fished on the Thames was a size limit match and if you caught a fish under a certain size it had to go back and could not be weighed in, each species of fish had a 'sizable' length.

Sales of the measuring stick were good and it encouraged Cliff to expand into other items of tackle, at the time he was working out of a small rented workshop not far from his current UK head office in Hainault, Essex. The first product he made to bear the name Fox was a metal baitdropper back in 1967. Sales of this limited range of products grew rapidly and it was not long before he outgrew the small workshop, he then moved to what is still his UK offices in Hainault.

The company continued to grow each year and eventually they had to open a European distribution centre at Mere on the Dutch/Belgium border. Fast forward to the current date and Fox International now emlpoy more than 120 people across the UK and Europe, they now employ dedicated teams of specialist saies force, social media teams and they also have a specialist CAD design team together with a strong team of angling consultants across europe.

Fox have had good growth year on year and now have a range of over 3000 products that are sold in over 30 countries, including Russia, Japan and USA. Fox now have an extensive range of top selling items including Supa Brolly, Flatliner and Flatliter bedchair, Micron range of bite alarms, FX range of reels, Royale Classic Bivvy, Ranger rod pods.

In more recent times they have added the Matrix range of match tackle to their portfolio and this has lead to top selling items as the S36 Superbox, S25 Superbox, Matrix Slik pole elastic and the Matrix Duralite platform.
