Matrix

Matrix is a relatively new brand for the match and pleasure angler, its range of products have been designed to make fishing as easy as possible for anglers to catch fish. Matrix is a brand that grew out of the Fox International stable, which Cliff Fox started back in 1967, from a small Essex workshop, and has grown to be one of the largest tackle companies in the world, with its products sold in over 30 countries including Japan and the USA. Cliff Fox started making tackle for his own use when he match fished on the River Thames. Back in those days matches were fished to size limits, so he made a metal ruler to fish the fish he caught, he soon sold lots to his friends and that was the start of one of the largest fishing tackle companies in the world.

The current range of Matrix products was put together by a team of top match anglers including Ricky Teale, Les Thompson and Scott Day making it a top quality range of tackle which has been built on Cliff Fox's 50 years of experience in the trade. This experienced team has focused solely on the needs of the modern angler and have built a range of match and feeder products that make catching fish on modern commercial venues that much easier. Part of this philosophy is a Youtube channel that shows its customers how to get the best out of their products with lots of tips and tricks to put more fish on the bank.

More recently Matrix have produced a range of seat boxes and the accessories to fit them, the Superbox range of seat boxes are very well priced, and has a number of different drawer configurations to cater for the different tastes that match anglers can have.

Another clever idea is the Matrix Evolution range of feeders that have removable tail rubbers plus quick change slots which allow you to change to a different feeder very quickly, which is great when there are a lot of fish to be caught. All these great ideas demonstrate that Matrix is a brand that will be here for a long time to come and with their continued product design and development they will go from strength to strength.
