Kevin Nash is the original founder of Nash Tackle and he is still the Ceo today, he started making carp fishing tackle back in 1980, he started making weigh slings and sacks on his kitchen table. A lot has changed from those early days to now, he owns a multi million pound company that supplies carp tackle to 32 different countries across the world. He is responsible for bring lots of new and exciting products to the market place. He has developed a huge range of Nash Bait, Terminal tackle, rod support systems, bivvy systems and bedchairs. Kevin has been a carp angler for over 50 years and he still loves to spend his time by the side of the water waiting for a big fat carp.
Kevin first set up in business trading as Happy Hooker, when he started making carp tackle for himself and a few friends, it wan't long before other anglers on the bank noticed his innovative items and he started selling to other anglers who had the same demands as him. In the coming years carp fishing exploded and so did the demand for the products he was making, his company became synonymous with high quality carp fishing tackle.
As time went on other companies started to copy his products, he was the first to produce a rod holdall that you can carry your rods and reels already set up, this original design has been copied by every single company that has ever made a carp rod holdall, yet his designs are still the best.
Nash Tackle has remained the number 1 brand for carp tackle in the United Kingdom and in the last few years he has exploded onto the bait schene. He has produced some classic baits in his time with the latest on being Scopex Squid, this bait has caught massive fish all over the world. Kevin's bait guru is Gary Bayes, he is responsible for the many classic recipes that go to make up the range of baits sold under the Nash Bait banner. Gary and Kevin both have their own syndicate waters which hold massive fish and it is a once in a lifetime experience to fish them.
