Shimano Tribal TX 1 Carp Rods

The blanks themself are made from XT40 carbon. This ensures that the blank is able to offer the rigidity that you require to achieve those distance casts whilst still being able to offer the kind of bite sensitivity you need for when those nervous carp come along. The blank is finished in a matt black and features flashes of deep green – this combination creates a classic timeless look which will suit modern and traditional angling tastes. This is a rod for the angler who likes to invest in their equipment for the long term rather than the angler who buys a new rod with each change of style.

The guides on the rod are constructed from Shimano’s Hardlite material – aluminium oxide coated stainless steel. This material is incredibly durable and offers a fantastic performance cast after cast. The first guide on the rod is 50mm, which not only reduces the risk of wrap-arounds and allows for the kind of distance casts the modern carp angler seeks to achieve but also looks incredible too.

The reel seat on the rod is Shimano’s own brand designed DPS style seat. This ensures that no matter which of Shimano’s superb carp reels you choose to fish with it will balance perfectly to create the dream carp fishing combination. The Tribal TX1 features an EVA handle, ensuring that you’re able to keep a good grip on the rod in even the most violent of takes and against the hardest fighting of fish.
