Free Spirit have sought after the best quality possible with rods. With this new range of Helical rods, they are certain you'll be amazed at the quality for the price.

Using a blend of carbons from Hankook and Toray for the butt and the tip section and then wrapping with a helical loop tape finish produces a blank which fulfiuls the promise of casting and playing fish whilst keeping the rod light and slim. Just like all Free Spirit rods, the finish must be cosmetically attractive and different and be free from any paint or lacquer to maintain apperance for many years.

Free Spirit have opted for a very modern build with black seat fittings and black framed stainless-steel guides as well as a subtule red tipping around the logo. All rods feature abbreviated handles with DPS style size 18 reel seats and black acetile Collars and butt cap

There are 5 rods in the range being a 10ft 3lb rod with 40mm but guide to a 12mm anti-frap tip ring. This rod suits smaller venues or when you want to travel light. There are three 12ft rods in the range being a 3lb and 3.25 lb test curve which are brilliant all-round rodsand then a 3.5lb tc rod for weedy waters and distance work. These rods feature a 50mm butt ring to a 16mm anti frap tip. Then you've got the 13ft 3.5lb SU rod which is capable of some serious casting distances, fitted with the same ringing as the 12ft models.
