This super sharp hook really is the perfect all round pattern, it can be used straight out of the packet on a massive variety of rigs without the need to add lots of other components, whether you are fishing bottom baits, wafters, pop ups or zigs, this hook can do it all, thanks to the aggressive in turned eye which helps to ensure it flips over and takes hold in the fishes mouth, without the need to add additional kickers or shrink tube.

The Basix Wide gape hooks are made from Korda's super strong X gauge wire, with an unobtrusive black nickel finish, making these hook suitable for use both in the UK and overseas due to thier strength. The point has been designed to be super sharp, yet long lasting, enabling you to catch multiple fish on the same hook, although its still import to check the hook point each time before you cast out.

The shape of the hook has been based upon the incredibly effective original Wide Gape, which  has been responsible for catching countless big Carp over the years from all over the world.
